[We] returned home to the UK yesterday evening after a most enjoyable week in Puglia based at your Casa Adriatica. Everything in the 'trullo' was at least as we had expected and the weather was also excellent; lots of sun but a good breeze which kept the temperature under control during the day. The only serious rain we had was on the morning of our departure back to Naples. Perfect timing!

We were out every day looking at some new aspect of Puglia - our travels took us as far north as the Gargano, down to Otranto, and across to Matera, as well as more local destinations in between. We think we have quite a good feel for the region and its history now!! All very impressive and interesting...

...we would make only one other observation - the dogs of your British near neighbours (down the hill behind the pine trees to the north-east) were very noisy on several occasions... We're not at all sure that anything can be done about it, but they certainly detracted from the otherwise peaceful environment rather too often.

But to end on a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Puglia, and the environment and facilities of Casa Adriatica contributed substantially to that enjoyment.

Note from the owners: The issue of the barking dogs has been addressed and we have not heard anything more about noisy dogs from guests that have stayed since Mr & Mrs Gray!

Casa Adriatica is absolutely gorgeous, even better that the photos and that's saying something! We both thought it was finished to a very high standard both inside and out and the view was splendid! It would be nice to go back when all the lovely fruit and olive trees are in season, I didn't realise from the photos that you had so many!

Puglia is such a lovely area. I think we managed to get a good balance of both sight seeing and relaxing, just a shame that the week was over so quickly!

We had a great time in Puglia, the trullo was excellent and we would rate it as a 5. It was fitted out to a very high standard, we particularly loved the stone ceilings and floors. The location was very beautiful and peaceful.

Your instructions were very good and we had no trouble finding the agent who was very pleasant and helpful, though we did not have any problems for him to assist with
