Where to eat in Cisternino There's one thing you know you can look forward to when holidaying in Puglia and that's the wonderful food. Whether you're looking for a light meal, or a complete eating experience there's a wealth of choice amidst the numerous cafe's, restaurants and pizzerias! Although it's not hard to find a good eating place in Cisternino, we also thought that those of you that haven't visited this beautiful little town before would appreciate a couple of pointers on where to go for great food at reasonable prices. All the eating places listed are those where we have actually eaten during our various trips and we would highly recommend. We list eateries that serve Pizza, Pasta and Snacks as well as Family Restaurants, and we've tried to give an idea of the kind of cost, excluding tip, you would expect for a meal for 2. For those of you that like your meat, look out for restaurants where you can choose the cut and quantity of meat you want and they'll cook it for you on the spot! There are a few of these off the main Piazza - have a wander through the winding alleys and you'll be sure to find them! |

Cisternino's Main Square in the Historic Quarter. Apart from serving (in our
humble opinion) some of the best pastries and cakes you will ever taste, many filled with the most wonderful custard
cream, you can also partake from a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic
drinks and warm and cold light snacks, all whilst listening to soft Jazz.
