Torretta Salentina  is a stunning little property, which definitely has the 'wow' factor!

Built from local Carparo stone, which is typical of the Salento region and has been used through the centuries to build monuments and even Cathedrals, Torretta Salentina is built in the style of an old 'Watch Tower' similar to those that still dot the coast and were used as observation posts against pirates.

Set in large landscaped gardens, and with a large pool (18m x 8m) immediately opposite, it is the ideal location for you to relax and enjoy a romantic getaway, or simply lose yourself within the beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.

Located in the heart of the Salento region, increasingly known for it's rich fruity wines, the Baroque town of Lecce is only 15 minutes away by car and the Ionian or Adriatic Seas are only 20-30 minutes away. Brindisi Airport is around an hour's drive away.

The owners' house is across the gardens but the family guarantees guests' privacy. During 'High Season', they are also pleased to offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast with many typical specialties of the area including fruit, bread, ham, salami, cheese, cakes and organic marmalade! On arrival, you will also receive further details of a number of optional extras that can be arranged for you including home cooked evening meals, wine and olive oil tasting and more!

Included as standard in the property however is a basket of goodies including, among other things, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereals, bread, jam, milk and juices.

The interior is spacious and furnished to a very high standard in a modern style. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom on the top floor, with air conditioning Satellite TV and DVD/CD player. A sofa bed in the bedroom also allows for the possibility of an extra person.

The ground floor features a spacious fully equipped kitchen and dining room as well as the bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy the use of facilities including table tennis, sun loungers, a barbeque, outside showers for the pool, and even a hammock! Pool towels are provided and are changed weekly.

Please note that for the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, smoking and pets are NOT permitted in most of our properties. In this case however, smoking is allowed outside only, and pets are allowed by prior arrangement.
